The Virginia FFA Dairy Cattle Development Event is a two-day event held during the State FFA Convention at Virginia Tech. All contestants compete in the first day's activities. Activities on the second day are limited to the top 5 teams (or top 10% of teams, whichever is greater) and the top 10 individuals based on results from the first day. A break down of activities and points allocated is shown below.
