The 2008 Dairy Science Open House will be held on Saturday, October 18, in Litton Reaves Hall on the Virginia Tech campus. Dr. Frank Gwazdauskas is a 2008 recipient of the ADSA Fellow and Dr. Katharine Knowlton is the 2008 recipient of the Cargill Young Scientist Award. The awards were presented on Wednesday, July 11, 2008, during the awards ceremony at the ADSA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana. Congratulations!

The Department of Dairy Science will welcome 25 freshmen and 6 transfer students to campus this fall, our largest incoming class in recent times.
